Onion Bread (machine) – Regular Loaf

Ingredients & Directions


3/4 c Water
2 c White bread flour
1 1/2 tb Dry milk
1 1/2 tb Brown sugar
1 ts Salt
1 tb Butter
1/4 c Onions, dried
1/2 tb Onion paste
1/2 ts Black pepper
1/2 ts Poppy seeds
1 ts Yeast, fast rise or machine
– or –
2 ts Yeast, active dry

The aroma has a wonderful affect, and so does the taste. Serve it
warm with split pea soup, and your senses will think they’ve died and
gone to heaven!
Success Hints

Use dried onion flakes, not fresh.

If you can’t find onion paste in a tube, you may substitute 1/4 t
onion powder. Don’t use onion salt.

Use regular or rapid cycle.
