Basic Shortbread
Ingredients & Directions 1 lb Butter 3 c Flour 1 c Icing Sugar 1/4 c Cornstarch Cream butter, add icing sugar and cream well. Add flour and cornstarch. Beat until light and fluffy. Drop from teaspoon onto ungreased cookie sheet. Flatten with a fork or fingers. Bake at 350 for 12 minutes. Yields 3 dozen
